Concept preview · payments are simulated (no real charges). Pledges are captured for the campaign team to review — built by KIRAI for Benoni Primary.
Chapter 1 · Learning materials

Books, readers, and every page that unlocks a mind.

Books, reading kits, stationery, and the everyday resources that turn classrooms into places children want to be. Reading Grade 3 in a room stocked with fresh stories is a very different experience from one making do with dog-eared handouts.

Ambassador pledge · Mitesh

Mitesh is bringing 25 of the 100.

Every ambassador takes a slice of the target and rallies their circle. If someone sent you this link, they're one of the people trying to get the school to 100 — and they'd love your pledge behind their name.

If you can pledge, wonderful. If you can't right now, sending this on to one person who might is the single most useful thing you can do.

Questions, answered

How exactly do payments work?
Monthly pledges run through PayFast recurring billing or a debit-order mandate — you choose which when you sign up. Once-off gifts and lump sums go through PayFast's standard checkout, which accepts card, EFT, SnapScan, and Zapper. All money lands directly in the school's PBO bank account. No card details are ever stored on this site.
Is my personal information safe?
Your email, phone number, ID and full name stay private with the school office. On the public audit ledger below, only your first name and suburb appear (e.g. "Priya · Actonville"). If you'd prefer to appear anonymously, tick the box on the pledge form and the ledger will show "Anonymous · Actonville" instead.
Can I get a tax invoice?
Yes. Benoni Primary is a registered Public Benefit Organisation, and donations qualify for Section 18A tax deductions. Tick the box on the pledge form and the school will issue a receipt for the annual total in February for the previous tax year.
Can I pause, change or cancel my pledge?
Anytime. Every reminder email or WhatsApp includes a manage link. You can also email the school office or reply STOP to any SMS reminder. No forms, no lock-in, and no awkward calls.
How is the money actually handled?
Donations flow directly into the school's official PBO bank account. The 100 for 100 fund is reported on separately from the school's other income, and the audit ledger above updates whenever a donation comes in or a project is paid for. The school also publishes a quarterly report and an annual financial summary.
What happens once we hit 100?
The campaign continues — 100 is the starting line, not the finish. Once we reach the target, we celebrate publicly, publish the impact so far, and set a new stretch goal. The school never stops needing your support, and you're welcome to keep your pledge going for as long as you want to.
Who runs 100 for 100?
The school leads the campaign, supported by a network of parent, alumni and community ambassadors who each commit to bringing a portion of the 100 pledges. If you'd like to become an ambassador yourself, get in touch with the school office and they'll set you up with your own shareable link and tracker.
